Thanks for the rec, Miss Kitty. That was really very funny!

Isn't it amazing, all the brilliant stuff our fellow fans come up with.

A funny and original Spuffy fanfiction, I recommend it :

The dialogs all take place on twitter :-)

Good News on both sites - I should contact the owner of Nocturnal Night - I would be willing to take over the site as archive only if she ever wants to be done with it.

Here is a Wayback Link for The Crypt Cil :D

Aurora said Nocturnal Light was saved, hoorah!

Fonts of Wisdom - The Crypt has also seems to have been lost -  If the Spuffy Realm goes down it will be such a huge loss.  I wish that the owners of these sites would make an announcement if the plan on taking down their sites and offer them up to be taken over by others fans.

The money problems should not exist - those Spuffy sites have a lot of members and visitors who read there - if all the fans who read would donate $10 or $20 annually they would meet the cost for  maintain the sites.

I was really disappointed  when Sinister Attraction was taken down and I am so glad that the Slayer Network has archived it.  Wish they would do the same for The Crypt.

I see that Nocturnal Light is currently down as pending renewal or deletion.  I found it on Wayback but the two stories I tried to access to test it both weren't archived so I hope it hasn't gone down permanently.  :(  I don't know if Spuffy Realm is potentially in trouble too if they don't meet the fund raising they seem to be trying to do.

or Veterans Day - a Buffy and Spike as human in this story of love and life during WW2 by Moxie.

Some may think it's sappy and over done, but the romantic in me liked it very much - It was a recommend over at EF for Veterans Day.

"Waiting for Eternity"

While it is listed as a WIP - it is actually completed.  Sinister Attraction is one of those old FF sites that is being kept online by no longer updated - take a visit while it is still available.

Lilachhigh at EF also has a WW2 story about the resistance - again, some might say that this topic is inappropriate for Buffyverse FF, but everyone has their own POV on the subject.

If you've not read cousinjean recently - there are some really good stories over at Elysian Fields.  I like this writer very much - I started reading his alternative reality reality continuation of the Slayer Scythe Potentials transformation. "Dead Leaves and the Ground."  I'm enjoying reading FF as an alternative to the comic book seasons.  The comic books just don't satisfy my continued love for these characters and my wanting to continue my connection with the Buffyverse.

Recommends are always an "iffy" kind of thing, but you might like this writer.

For Buffy - I think you might like this one.  Short, but I think a wonderful story.
